Gary started Westgate after fifteen years on the tools for other firms, tired of seeing customers stung by call-out fees and vague bills. He built the business on a simple promise: clear prices, proper work, and engineers who actually turn up when they say they will. Today the team covers all of Bristol, but every job still goes out under that same standard.

Built on doing it properly

Westgate Plumbing & Heating began with one van, one engineer and a frustration with how the trade treated people. Fifteen years on, we're a tight team of Gas Safe engineers covering the whole of Bristol — but we've never lost the founding rule: no call-out fees, no nasty surprises, and no job we wouldn't be happy to have done in our own home. We invest in our engineers, carry the common parts so you're not waiting on deliveries, and back everything we do with a 12-month guarantee. That's why most of our work now comes from repeat customers and word of mouth.
